Kris specializes in OSB, Plywood, specialty-sized panels and program business. He has over 17 years of experience in the lumber business, all with Viking Forest Products. He joined Viking as a college intern in 1989 and became a full-time trader in 1991. Kris graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., with a degree in Business Management.

Born and raised in the Twin Cities, Kris takes advantage of the cold weather in Minnesota, spending more time outdoors in winter than in summer. He enjoys cross-country skiing, broomball and hockey. While indoors, he roots for the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings, plays fantasy baseball and fantasy football, and collects old maps.
