John Cizek, Controller

John is the controller for Viking Forest Products Inc. Prior to his joining Viking he was the chief financial officer at Canton Lumber Company for seven years. His background is as a certified public accountant and has had various financial positions in industry. He was in public accounting from 1979 - 1982. He graduated from Gonzaga University in May 1979 with a Bachelors of business administration degree in public accounting.

John was raised in St. Paul, MN and has lived in Bloomington, MN since 1989. He enjoys Golfing and sports in general. He loves spending time with his family and has volunteered his time to the association of building materials suppliers in the twin cities (Twin Cities Hoo-Hoo Club. No.12), the finance committee of his church and the district 6 hockey association.

John and Dianne have been married for eighteen years and have three children; Jenna, Alex and Jack.
